The Weekend

This past weekend was so fun! There is nothing better than a good time with friends.

We were all born in the 80's, which seems so long ago.

So much for sleeping late with a baby around, but I can't express enough how much Will, Goosey and I enjoyed it. He is such a happy baby. He loved playing in our bathroom sink. So much so that if you took him out he cried bloody murder :)

We really appreciate Lauren and Trip sharing their lovely little boy with us. The weekend couldn't have been better.

I'm here, I Promise

This week has been so busy, which I guess you could say is a good thing. That being said my little dear readers...I'm here. I promise.

This weekend we have company coming, which I'm so excited about. They aren't traveling far, just a little ways down the road. Lauren, Trip and Baby Cade will be joining us Friday night. Then we are going to the Captain's Dinner for the "Rock the Dock" fishing Tournament. Saturday, the boys will fish and then we all go to an 80's Spring formal with a luau theme at the neighbor's house. Sunday, we take the boat to Dog Island for a little fun in the sun.

Can't wait to share pictures with you. I just hope my camera lasts as I left my charger at the beach :/

What a wonderful Mother's Day

For us Mother's Day was simple. A quick trip to Bainbridge to see my most wonderful mother and mimi in the whole entire world.



I'm a mommy too, to my sweet baby dog.


LCN, my sister, is also a mommy to her sweet baby roo dog.

Junior League and 80's Prom Party

I'm so excited to tell you that I'm joining Junior League of Tallahassee. I was invited by my friend Lauren. I'm excited to make new friends and about all the events that take place. More importantly it's my way to give back. JLT does so many good things for the community. I went to my first meeting last night.

On to the 80's prom party. My neighbor is hosting it and I'm so excited about that too. After the JLT meeting Lauren and I raided the 80's Prom dresses that were at the League house. Talk about fun! We couldn't stop laughing we looked so ridiculous in some of those dresses. Here are two that I picked. I'm not sure which one I'm going to wear just yet but I'm leaning toward the black and blue one b/c it's comfortable. The green one, not so much but it's just so fabulous. Check them out!






Of course I'll have to crimp my hair or go for a side pony tail.

The Beach - Day 4 & 5

We cut our beach trip short. Can you say ugly weather? I'm sure you can. On one of those ugly days we went shopping. Two things I bought:

Lilly alligator skirt. Perfect since my husband is in the alligator trapping business, among all things.
